From Valiano the route continues towards Pietraia along a short stretch with little traffic. The leitmotiv of the stretch is the expertly cultivated land, mainly consisting in vineyards which turn the road into an extended avenue within a real geometric garden due to the different directions of the vine rows. The most striking geometric shape is located right along the stretch of dirt road in Capezzine within the property of a well-known winery, where a circular vineyard is revealed with a cypress tree in its center. A little further on in the same area stands the “Istituto Agrario e Alberghiero A. Vegni” (Agricultural and Hospitality Institute); a real campus immersed in the heart of Valdichiana, which has been significantly contributing  to the agritourism development of the area for 130 years. A few kilometers away there is Pietraia, a small village in the municipality of Cortona, whose main attraction is the Church of San Leopoldo, known in the Valdichiana for hosting a living nativity scene every year organized by the locals.
